When Centric Media Inc purchased the assets of the National Bike Registry in June 1999, the existing database and registrations were transferred. Any registrations purchased before this transition remains valid and active.

The National Bike Registry continues to offer its guarantee:

If your bike is stolen and not recovered by police within 6 months, NBR will register your next bike for free for the same term and the stolen bike information remains in the database without charge to you until the bike is recovered no matter how long it takes.

Unfortunately, we can no longer continue the previous owner’s policy of refunding the original registration fee if your stolen bike is not returned.

Your bike is still registered in our database and you will be able to access your file if there are any changes in your contact information. The National Bike Registry is expanding its services and community awareness so your bike is now better protected against loss.
