Dear NBR,
I could kiss you guys! My son attends the College of Charleston, Charleston, S.C. Freshman year he purchased a $500.00 bike with the RUP security lock. Needless to say his bike was stolen along with the wooden bannister it was attached to. And of course his bike was never seen again. So he was bike-less for the next year and a half. The summer before last he carried hod for the summer and had enough money to purchase a new bike. Against my better judgement he again bought another expensive bike. Once again the bike was stolen. (Charleston is a very old city and there is not a lot of concrete or metal to lock your bike onto.) He made a police report as before but didn't expect to ever see his bike again. Fortunately for him I insisted that he resister his bike with you and with the town we live in, Kirkwood, Missouri.
Well... a few days ago the Charleston police stopped someone riding my son's bike and saw your sticker. He called the NBR and the rest is history. My son will have to testify in court next week but then he gets his bike back.
You guys are heroes. I will recommend your service to everyone I know and will be glad to give you a personal reference anytime. I am a firm believer in the NBR program. It works and I just want to commend you and give you the pat on the back that you deserve.
Sincerely,
Ellen F.
