PHOENIX, AZ -(March 2003)– YaYa! Bike would like to announce a partnership with National Bike Registry. Since 1984, NBR has provided the only nationwide bicycle registration service, helping return many of the stolen bikes that end up in police property rooms. NBR logs owner contact information and bicycle information in its secure, web-enabled database to help police find owners of recovered bikes.

"YaYa! wants to enhance the riding experience for the consumer. One key component of that is peace of mind. NBR addresses that issue. We are glad to be working together." Said YaYa! Bike President Bob Friedman.

YaYa! Bike is a cooperative business owned and controlled by Independent Specialty Bicycle Retailers. By working together, YaYa! Bike provides its Members with services that would not be available were they to act alone. Principles of operation include democratic control, return of surplus to Members, cooperation, constant education and other business enhancing activities. Fundamentally, the function of the cooperative is to increase Member income and improve the ability of Members to operate as a business.
